Where Is Everyone Going With It??

 

Every morning I get email copies of my news subscriptions, or political punditry publications I subscribe to. The Heritage Foundation- I heard it from Rush Limbaugh is a good thing to subscribe to- very smart people he says. Glen Beck I like because he has tons of FACTUAL information- I don’t need it to buoy me in my political beliefs, but I need facts so I do.

Other blog publications- Politico, Newsmax Online, websites like the NEA- National Endowment for the Arts had caught my attention. I visited another NEA-National Education Association, was surprised at what they have in their website. Wow! This one is a labor union no doubt about that. It is not an education association that’s for sure. Meaning- it promotes, argues for, the teachers and their jobs (labor), but not the purpose or result of that labor (quality education for the kids). One topic today- team-Based learning. ha! ha! Boy- you don’t want to hear what I think abut that- but for now, that’s beside the point.

One thing I don’t do anymore is watch other news tv shows. I used to like watching Diane Sawyer. Not since ABC went to the White House for that health care confab that left out a different point of view. The Dems and the media had their confab, no dissenting voices allowed. Okie!

Now back to my objective here- ALL these sources of news, information have so many topics they call out the other side on– as example– Glenn Beck would call the Dems and the Libs and the White House on the issue of Czars. The Heritage Foundation calls this administration on Job Creation Not Happening. I could go on and on with all these different pieces of a seemingly endless puzzle of whys and hows and whos and whats. ALL these places of political punditry have their little issues they’re trumpeting about every day.

What these very talented, intelligent people seem to not see is the overall picture of a ”put together” view of their little ideological “issues”- and why those “issues”, “things”, “stuff” are happening to the point that they are talking about it every day. It almost takes my breath away waiting for how long these very inteligent people would figure out to put the pieces of the puzzle together and see the big picture!
